International Shipping from Samoa
All handcrafted items ship directly from Samoa via freight forwarding airlines. As the recipient, you are responsible for tracking your shipment using the tracking information provided at dispatch.
Import Duty or Tax
Shipments to the United States may incur import duties and taxes when they arrive in the U.S. These fees are determined by U.S. law and are collected by the delivering carrier. Any import duty/tax charges are the responsibility of the receiver/customer and are not included in our prices or shipping costs.
As of 24 February 2026, a 10% ad valorem duty may apply to most items imported into the United States (currently scheduled through 24 July 2026, unless extended or amended by U.S. authorities).
Unclaimed Shipments
If a shipment is not claimed within the collection window and is returned to us:

We are not obligated to resend the package at no cost

The original delivery window has passed, and the order is considered complete

If you wish to have your order reshipped, you will be responsible for the full shipping cost
Please ensure:

Your shipping address is accurate and complete

Someone is available to receive the package or collection is arranged promptly

You monitor tracking information closely
Damaged or Lost Items
Damage During Transit
Unfortunately, items damaged during shipment are not eligible for refund or replacement. Due to the nature of international freight forwarding and the handcrafted quality of our products, we cannot accept liability for damage that occurs during transit.
We recommend:

Inspecting your package upon delivery

Documenting any visible damage to the outer packaging

Understanding that shipping carriers handle packages beyond our control
Lost Shipments
If your item is lost during shipment:

A formal claim must be submitted to the shipping carrier

Once the claim is processed and approved, we will work with you to arrange a replacement

Replacement is subject to claim approval and artisan availability
